What to expect in the design process...

After contacting Lefevre Design, how long will I wait for a response?

We will contact you within 24 hours.  After the first initial meeting
(online or in person) we will respond, within 7 days, with a simple proposal based on all content gathered from you for your web development.

Together, with all of the information and content that you have provided to us, we will formulate the best development strategy for your website. Within one week, you should expect a call or email to discuss the development and estimated cost of your web design project.

Assuming that the we have all the required content for your web design, your home/index page will be created and launched to a test site online for you to view and approve.

The Web development Design Preview...

Your website development begins after all necessary content is received.  A home/index page is created and launched on a temporary domain for your review. You will receive a "preview address/website domain" to see your web project ‘in progress’. This first preview is simply for you to approve your website's look and feel.

Upon approval of your website's home/index page, the remaining pages of the website will advance to development. Expect another call from LD within another week to discuss progress and edits. 
During this second preview you will be able to let us know about the changes you want/need.
An example would be that you want this picture moved here or there, or you want this text above that picture, change this color, and so on.

Lefevre Design will then make the appropriate changes to your project specifications. Again, after these changes have been made, we will contact you within a week to let you know that requested changes have been made and receive your feedback on the progress. During this third preview the web design should be generally complete. Any other small changes that need to be made will be done at this stage.

After these last changes have been made, we will contact you again for a final preview. Your contact information and email will then be set up and upon your approval; your website will be launched to the Internet under your own domain name.

Will I be able to view my website as it is being developed?

Yes. We walk you through every step of the way.  We want your business to succeed and will do what it takes to make that happen!  Your website will be available to view throughout the developmental stages.

You will receive a "preview address" from to view your website as it is being developed. This way,  you will be able to make change requests during the developmental process.

How long will it take for my website to be finished?

Depending on the size of your website, if you have a database or e-commerce solution, and if Lefevre Design has all of the proper content needed for all of the pages within your site:

Basic sites: approximately 30 days
Intermediate sites: approximately 60 days
Database or E-commerce sites: depends on complicity (60 days plus…)

The process may take longer if large databases or e-commerce solutions are required, or if we have not received all of the proper content for your website.

Each site is one of a kind and custom made for you.  Time lines will vary depending on the scope of work.
